Event Descriptions 2007-2008 | |
| PARENT MEETING This informative time is for parents only. At 4:30, Kindergarten parents will meet the Kindergarten teachers to discuss their child's school year. At 5:00, all parents will meet with Dr. Carver to discuss new developments at the Children's School. Preschool parents will then meet with their child's teacher for specific class information, such as phasing-in days, classroom procedures, and basic learning goals for the year. At 6:00, parents will children in extended day programs meet with the teachers for specific information about the extended day program. | |

CONFERENCES In November and in the spring semester, the teachers meet with the parents to discuss their child's progress in relation to our learning goals. Please make child care arrangements for all of your children so the conference can be as distraction free as possible. | |

FESTIVAL This event is designed to provide the entire family with hands-on activities at the school. | |
| WHOLE SCHOOL CELEBRATION PICNIC This event is held in Schenley Park and is for all school families to celebrate the 2007/2008 school year. | |

NATURE
CAMP The Children's School Nature Camp is for children enrolled in the current three, four, and kindergarten programs or incoming four's and kindergarten children. Children must be potty trained to enroll in the camp program. Camp is held Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (lunch brought from home). Themes during camp have included; ocean, pond, and the animal kingdom. Applications are sent to families at the beginning of March. | |
