WOW!  This newsletter is packed with examples of and opportunities for parent involvement at the Children’s School.  We enjoyed interacting with the many families who attended our recent Open House events and look forward to your participation in Parent/Teacher conferences.  We appreciate the many parents who have helped with recent events, such as the school pictures and hayride.  The Book Fair and Giant Eagle programs offer ways to support the school via your purchases, and the Food Drive provides a wonderful chance to model generosity.  Research with older children suggests that parent involvement is the biggest predictor of student success in school.  Our goal is to forge a strong partnership between home and school so that we can best tailor our program to facilitate the development of each unique child.  We welcome your observations, encouragement, and suggestions at any time.  Please make yourself at home in the Children’s School family.
