Maggie Rosenblum graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in the History of Science.  After working for more than ten years in a supervisory capacity for small research firms on Wall Street, she moved to Pittsburgh with her family and earned certification in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  For two years, Maggie worked as a preschool teacher at Temple Children’s Center in Squirrel Hill.  This is her eighth year as a preschool teacher at the Children’s School.  Maggie’s husband, Mathew, is a composer and chairman of the Music Department at the University of Pittsburgh.  Their teenage daughters, Anna and Sara attend Schenley High School.  The Rosenblum family enjoys walking, reading, dancing, listening to music and playing games together.

Charline Tomer earned a B.S. in Preschool Teaching/Child Development from Ohio University and a Master’s in Early Childhood/Special Education from George Washington University.  She taught two-year-olds for 3 years at the Ohio University Education Laboratory School, two and three-year-olds for 2.5 years at the Gerard Majella Child Center at Marymount University in Virginia, and three to five-year-olds for 9 years at the Elfinwild Church Preschool in Glenshaw.  In 1995, she developed a hands-on science program that she implemented with all the classes at Elfinwild.  Then in 1998 she developed a Moms and Me program for 2 1/2 year olds at Elfinwild and facilitated it until she joined the Children’s School staff in 2001.  Charline is married to Henry and has two sons, Kevin and Rich.  Kevin is a senior at Allegheny College and Rich is a freshman at Penn State University.  Charline loves listening to music, the performing arts and movies.  Charline is also active in her church and community.

Tim Salinetro graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in theology from Duquesne University in May 2004. This is Tim’s fourth year as an assistant teacher at the Children’s School.  He is active in his church and is a volunteer at the Open Door, a community youth center in his neighborhood.  He enjoys playing all sports, bird watching, photography, spending time outdoors and drawing.  Tim is working on his Master’s degree and certification in Secondary Education at Duquesne University.
