Brynn Flynn graduated from Mt. Saint Mary's College with a B.A. in International Studies and Fine Arts. She tutored and mentored students in the Philadelphia Public Schools and designed murals with the Americorps Program, City Year Greater Philadelphia, for 2 years. She also completed the NYC Teaching Fellows Program, earning her Masters in Elementary Education while teaching first grade at Cornerstone Academy for Social Action in the Bronx. Brynn moved to Pittsburgh with her husband Mike, and they frequently run along the river paths and in Schenley Park. In addition to running, Brynn reads by the fountain at Southside Works, draws, and plays soccer. Currently, Brynn is interested in exploring how design and education overlap. During her third year at the Children's School, Brynn is beginning to take classes in Communication Planning and Information Design here at CMU.
