PROFILE — Anne O'Neill
Click to Enlarge Photo . . . Anne O'Neill, a Pittsburgh native, is excited to return to The Children's School for a second year after a decade of teaching experience in Chicago. She holds an undergraduate degree in sociology from Ohio Wesleyan University, followed by a year long term of service with Americorps. Her work with children during this term inspired Anne to become an educator. Anne then earned a Masters degree in Education from DePaul University. She chose to focus on early childhood education and English Language Learners acquiring additional teaching certificates in these areas. Anne enjoys spending time with children to stimulate social emotional learning and independence. She also enjoys incorporating arts into her curriculum. In her spare time, Anne enjoys practicing yoga, going on long hikes in the wilderness, and traveling to new places.
