PROFILE — Krissy Opferman
Click to Enlarge Photo . . . Krissy Opferman grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Krissy is beginning her eighth year at the Children's School and is teaching the AM Younger 4s and the Extended Day group. Prior to joining the Children's School team, Krissy taught at Beginnings Pre-School, the AIU DART program and the St. Anthony School Program. Krissy and her husband, George, have two children, Thomas and Mary Kate. Thomas works for ESPN Radio and Mary Kate attends Duquesne University. Krissy serves on the Executive Board of Angels' Place, volunteers for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, and is a member of the 100 Women Who Care organization. Krissy enjoys playing tennis, walking her dog, Molly, and spending time with family & friends.
