Krissy Opferman grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She previously taught at Beginnings Pre School, the AIU DART Program and the St. Anthony School Program. Krissy is beginning her third year at the Children's School and will be teaching in the morning 4's class and the morning Extended Day program. Krissy and her husband, George, have two children, Thomas and Mary Kate. Thomas is beginning his first year at Duquesne University and Mary Kate is a junior at Mt Lebanon High School. Krissy enjoys playing tennis, walking her dog, Molly, and spending time with family and friends.
