Extended Day Programs
Monday - Thursday
A child must be enrolled in the preschool to take advantage of the extended day programs. Interested families must apply separately to these programs with preference given to currently enrolled students. The tuition is payable to the University at the beginning of each semester.
Extended Morning
11:30 am-1:00 pm Preschool
Maximum 24 children enrolled
The extended morning program is taught by three preschool teachers and one assistant teacher. The children cook, practice large motor skills, receive additional computer instruction, and participate in extended music and art activities. The children bring their own lunch.
Extended Afternoon
3:15 pm -5:45 pm Preschool
Maximum 6 children enrolled
During the extended afternoon program, the children cook, practice large motor skills in the gym, take nature walks, go to the library, read stories and recreate them with puppets or drama, and participate in extended music and art activities. The children also have snack and free play.
