KLAHRLAB PHOTOS, PAST, PRESENT, AND IMAGINARY

Well, not really. This is NOT my lab group, but I think it's a great picture because it shows how scientific interests cross international boundaries. This photo was taken at the International Congress of Psychology in Beijing , in August 2004. In the center cluster, starting with the man in the black sport jacket are: Dr. Lei Mo, a Professor at Beijing Normal University and Vice Chairman of Psychology Society of China, my current post doc, Junlei Li, my wife, Pamela Weiss, me, and Zhe Chen, my former Post Doc, currently on the faculty at UC Davis. The rest of the people in the photo are graduate students at BNU, studying under Dr. Mo . Several of them are working with Zhe Chen (and me) on an investigation of young children's ability to generate conclusive experimental tests of simple hypotheses.
In fact, my research group size varies between 3 or 4 and 8 to 10. This next photo shows the current group (as of Fall 2006).
