Marsha is Assistant Professor in Carnegie Mellon's Department of Psychology
and Director of the Learning and Problem Solving Lab.

Marsha received her PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. Except for a brief stint
as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, Marsha has spent her
academic career predominantly in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - a great place to do
cognitive science research. Her research interests center on learning during problem
solving and, more specifically, on how people learn to make good choices when
they are solving problems..
