Carnegie Mellon anticipates being able to fund two postdoctoral fellows on a
training grant entitled  “Combined Computational and Empirical approaches to the
study of Cognitive Neuroscience.  The trainee must be a US citizen or national, and
must have already received his or her PhD.  Training involves learning computational
modeling techniques and acquiring an Appreciation of research on special populations
and application of cognitive modeling to advance our understanding of mental disorders.
The trainee will work with his or her mentor and an expert researcher in an area of
disordered cognition such as autism, bi-polar, depression, schizophrenia or brain
damage. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.  Please send
