Research Interests:

My primary research interests include language acquisition, categorization, and attention. Currently, I am examining how early word learning impacts children’s understanding of categories and subsequently their ability to reason about category membership. I am also examining the relationship between children’s ability to effectively regulate their attention and learning outcomes. I am particularly interested in investigating the role of the physical environment on children’s distractibility.
