Research Interests:

I'm interested in auditory perception and cognition, specifically the kinds of contributions and constraints that the auditory system brings to the task of speech perception. Within this framework, I'm particularly interested in mechanisms that underlie the flexibility of on-line speech processing (e.g. context effects, talker & accent normalization) as well as the ways in which these mechanisms arise across experience and development.
