Research Interests:

My interest lies in the area of creative problem solving, and particularly in the interaction between cognitive processes and environment that leads to the development of solutions that are both novel and useful. An understanding of these phenomena has implications not only for basic psychological science, but also in more diverse applied fields such as design and public policy.
