A new position is available in the Families, Emotions, Neuroscience & Development Lab
at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC) at the University of Pittsburgh:

Research Specialist. The Research Specialist is an intermediate-level research position
that requires providing research support in a laboratory conducting multi-dimensional studies
of neural and social aspects of emotional information processing involved in child and adolescent
anxiety and depression. This position provides F/T research assistance by administering cell-phone
interviews to healthy, anxious, and depressed children/adolescents, conducting psychophysiological
(fMRI, eyetracking, ERP) and behavioral research protocols, and managing data collected during
assessments. This position requires a Bachelors degree in psychology, neuroscience, or closely
related field with one year of research experience. Previous experience with children and adolescents
is required. Experience with psychophysiological assessment, data analysis, and/or computer
programming is a strength. This candidate must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail,
and strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and
weekends.
