Eliana Weiner
August 2013 - June 2014

Currently: Designer at STUDIOS Architecture

I am currently working at an architecture firm that focuses on interior architecture and existing spaces in NYC. The bulk of my work has been in the preliminary design phase, looking at both the qualitative and quantitative components of a client's existing space and intertwining that with the new design. For instance, I just completed this exercise with a law firm, which was considering 5 different spaces in NYC. The goal was to fit out, or testfit, all 5 potential spaces based on the law firm's existing needs and potential growth, while integrating a design aesthetic. Although I am not in the field of psychology, my background in analytical research and data collection has transitioned well into the realm of design through test-fitting and programming.
