Hommage for Bob Siegler

Aix-en-Provence, June 9-10, 2016

History/Background

The Hommage for Bob Siegler was a gathering of cognitive developmentalists who have worked with Bob as postdocs or graduate students or who are long time collegues of Bob's. The idea for the Hommage originated with Patrick Lemaire, who says he had been thinking about it ever since he worked with Bob as a postdoc starting in 1994. For a time it lay fallow, but the idea of the Hommage resurfaced when many in the group attended a dinner at Smokin' Betty's in Philadelphia during the 2015 SRCD Meeting. The dinner at Smokin Betty's clinched it; soon after Patrick got back to Aix-Marseille University, he sent out an email asking if everyone would be interested in attending the Hommage, and, voilà! The Hommage was born. The details were worked out early in 2016, and the Hommage was held in Aix-en-Provence on June 9 and 10, 2016.

Needless to say, a good time was had by all! This site is to provide more information about the Hommage and the group, including brief bios of the speakers, a link to their websites, downloadable copies of the slides from the Hommage talks, and photos of the event.
